When a ridge joint is needed for water, steam, sewage, oil and other fluid applications, select WaterFab ductile iron flanged
joint pipe. Available in lengths up to 17.5 feet. Our ductile flange pipe is ANSI/AWWA C115/A21.15 compliant. WaterFab uses
Class 53 DIP to ensure enough wall thickness for proper integrity under the threads.

Power tightening of long hub flanges, along with refacing the flange and pipe, allows the gasket to seat over the machined
ends of the pipe. Thus, threads are not subjected to line pressure or possible corrosive action from contents. The long hub
of the flange covers threads that might otherwise be exposed. A tolerance of 1/8 inch is allowed on all mating dimensions
for full length and short length flanged pipes.
Our screw flange is tapped for ductile iron pipe, works with the ANSI B16.1 125 pound bolt hole template and is available in
all the diameters listed in the table above. Ductile iron flanges will always be furnished when ductile iron pipe is ordered.
Accessories must be ordered separately.
with flanged pipe, headers, wall pipe and even aerial spans of up to 80 feet, give good indication of our carbon and stainless steel
fabrication capabilities. There is no weldment, however difficult, that we can't perform.
Ceramic Epoxy. A 100% volume solids, abrasion-resistant lining developed specifically for ductile iron products, Perma-Shield® PL
offers permeation resistance to H2S gas. This special coating also protects against MIC while providing chemical resistance in
severe wastewater situations. WaterFab is an approved specialty applicator of Perma-Shield® PL; we strictly follow Tnemec's
recommendations to ensure years of product protection. We apply Perma-Shield® PL on full lenth pipe, fittings and spool pieces
from 3 to 24 inches in diameter. The increasing importance of asset management and green practices will make WaterFab's
Perma-Shield® PL product line a significant asset to you and your customers.
